Product Description:
- Calcium nitrate, also called Norgessalpeter (Norwegian Salpeter), is an inorganic compound with the formula Ca(NO3)2(H2O)x.
- The anhydrous compound, which is rarely encountered, absorbs moisture from the air to give the tetrahydrate.
- Both anhydrous and hydrated forms are colorless salts.
- Calcium nitrate is mainly used as a component in fertilizers, but it has other applications.
- Calcium Nitrate is free from chloride, sodium & other elements which are harmful to plants.
- Calcium Nitrate fertilizer is a water-soluble that provides the plant with calcium and nitrogen. Calcium is a secondary nutrient that is critical to crop development. It is needed in large amounts by all plants for the formation of cell walls and cell membranes, and it plays a vital role in soil structure.
