Choose the area where you want to apply the hen manure
Remove any existing weeds or debris from the area to ensure the manure makes direct contact with the soil.
Using a shovel, spread the aged hen manure evenly over the soil surface within the designated area. Avoid piling it up around the plant stems, as this can cause stem rot.
Gently work the hen manure into the top few inches (5-10 cm) of soil.
Keep an eye on your plants for any signs of over-fertilization, such as leaf burn or excessive growth.
